Be Water Smart: Featuring San Diego actor Cameron Elmore

Check out this water conservation video featuring teen actor Cameron Elmore. The video offers some great water-saving tips and is especially relevant in San Diego, which imports 90 percent of its water.

The video, "Be Water Smart," was created by the San Diego County Office of Education's Instructional Television for the San Diego County Water Authority. Special thanks to Richard Harrison ITV production and programming manager, who directed the video.

The video can be seen regularly in San Diego on ITV, channel 16 for both Cox Communications and Time Warner cable customers and channel 4 for USA Julian cable customers.

Cameron Elmore to play the role of Charlie Brown

Cameron Elmore has been cast as Charlie Brown in the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

The show will be performed May 8-17, 2009, at the Lyceum Theatre at Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego. The show is produced by the Actor's Conservatory Theater-San Diego and is directed by Leigh Scarritt.

There will be two youth casts.

Save Water Now, Here's How video featuring Cameron Elmore


Cameron Elmore is featured as the lead boy in the San Diego County Water Authority's latest water conservation video.

The 12-minute video, titled "Be Water Smart" features Cameron in a contest with a classmate to see who can save the most water. The video offers water-saving tips, from how to find out whether your toilet is leaking to how to keep pool water from evaporating.

The video is free to schools in San Diego County. Teachers and school administrators can order a copy from the San Diego County Water Authority.
